How It Started
I got into gardening almost by accident and ended up falling in love with it. There's something about the process that stuck with me: taking something overgrown or neglected and turning it into somewhere someone actually wants to be. Working with your hands, seeing a transformation happen in a day, and knowing you've made someone's garden a bit brighter. That’s what got me hooked.
I've been doing this on and off for 11 years, and went full-time with Finlay Crawford Gardens in 2025. For me, it's never just about the work itself. Good communication and keeping things stress-free matter just as much as a tidy hedge or a clean patio. You never know what kind of day someone is having, and sometimes being friendly, respectful and easy to deal with matters just as much as the work itself.
